There’s just so much tiny aggression going on, it’s almost cringy how people just can’t hide their aggression even though they’ve tried so hard to sound nice.
It’s almost everywhere. It’s there when we hedge before saying anything. It’s there when we caveat before we release any publication. It’s there when a book has a preface.
It’s pure hypocricy, but at its core, hypocricy is really just hidden aggression.
