Athens in my dream

Apparently, it’s going to rain for the entire weekend. I was planning on going to Nantou again, for the Bauhaus exhibition. But not too sure if it’s worth all the trouble.

Otherwise, I suppose I could stay home and read… It now seems to me that I should have purchased the iPad so that I would have something to do.

I don’t mind the rain, actually. It’s just that a new book that I’ve been waiting for will not come out until 31 May. And I’ve almost finished all of my novels at hand–currently reading Grown Ups by Marian Keyes. Not as good as I expected; it’s a bit too light for my taste. I went through The Silent Patient fairly quickly, but it also didn’t seem as thrilleresque as it could have been. The best so far was Ghosts by Dolly Alderton. That read a lot more like a thriller.

Bought a bunch of new clothes and bags this month. A wonderful decision. It’s the fastest way to feel delighted. Plus I need new clothes.

I think there is something about this ParrotOS–the looks, perhaps–that makes one not interested in creating stuff on it. It’s too workesque. Well, perhaps it’s because I’ve used it for work, to start with. It’s been contaminated already.

Wondering if I should go to Taipei next weekend, to see a friend, and for that purpose only. I suppose I should–else I won’t have anything to do.

Had a dream about the Athens job this morning. It turned out that there was an earthquake–that’s why I woke up. Athens, indeed, seems like the dream.

That’s about it for the weekly journal.
